ServantSong serve our God with great joy, hope and love! As they share their gift of song, they help those gathered at our events to lift their prayers to the Lord of Life. Our diocese is thankful for their presence at our Catholic Youth Convention, Middle School Gathering, and Winter Jam, and are looking forward to having them join us to glorify God in the future.

I knew I was in for a treat when I heard Servant Song was playing at St. Mark's again this year. It is so hard to find a performance of traditional Christmas songs that are treated with such a deep spiritual edge to them. You bring a fresh approach to making sure Christ is the true reason for the season. I was able to enter into worship our Savior. Thanks for being so sensitive to the Lord when you serve Him in song.

We were blessed to have ServantSong at our Day of Prayer and Reflection Family Retreat this week. Their presence and spirit made our family retreat an uplifting experience. While the turnout at event was low due to the holiday weekend, ServantSong never let that affect their performance. They played with such passion and professionalism. I love the "Glory Be" CD - it's fabulous! I'm actually going to buy another one so I can give it to my music director. My son and I listen to it every morning at breakfast. I saw ServantSong at the Upper Room in June. They are polished and professional. Lead singer Melissa Roberts has an energetic yet reverent presence -- it's obvious she's having a ball up there. One of their newest original songs "Broken" was deeply moving. Definitely go see the band play live. It'll be worth the effort to make it out to one of their events.

I recently attended a ServantSong concert at the Upper Room Christian coffeehouse in Warwick, RI, that I thoroughly enjoyed -- both musically and inspirationally. It was the first time I had heard ServantSong -- and in fact the first time I'd attended any Christian -- music concert. The lead singer, Melissa, has a beautiful voice, and it seems obvious where she got her talent. Her mother, Donna, sang lead on a few songs and sounded great as well. I also enjoyed all the instrumental accompaniment. The whole night was very uplifting. I left feeling energized and more positive about the future.

We were recently blessed to have ServantSong as the music ministers for the Mass which opened our 41st Annual Diocesan Religious Education Workshop Day. What an awesome evening we've had with ServantSong. Foot-stomping, hand-slapping, praise-the-Lord music. The combination of contemporary praise & worship and original music. All to glorify God. Originally, we had someone else that was going to come here. They canceled, and I had an email from Dave. I checked out ServantSong's site, listened to the music, and thought it was very good. When they got in here and played, instead of being very good, it was great! The music is very uplifting, spiritual, and I recommend everyone buy the CD.
